Tom Pressman, co-owner of Strictly Business, is managing partner for MIST.Although the team at Strictly Business has had to learn a slew of medical technology, the MIST project hasn't been much more of a stretch than their typical job, he said.Strictly Business has helped various organizations use technology to solve problems, whether it be identifying hypertension in pregnant women or helping a manufacturer improve its process."We've done all kinds of things," Pressman said."We (lay out a process) and insert different types of technologies into different points in the process to make it work more properly."It's a logical marriage when you look at it that way, he said. For Pressman, working with officials at Marshall University to turn this treatment into a commercial enterprise has been a great experience."They're all looking at how to get the best care to patients in the least amount of time," he said. But they're going to end up making a lot of money, if things go well, he said.

"Rather than sitting back and reacting, Paducah not only identified the problem and went on the attack, but they got creative in doing it," said Tom Pressman, vice president of Strictly Business Computer Systems."Could something similar happen here?I think so, because for the first time in the many years I've been here I feel more of the kind of energy that it will take to do something like that."Pressman was joined on the trip by Mayor David Felinton; Administration and Finance Director Brandi Jones; Economic Development Director Bill Toney; Development and Planning Director Charles Holley; Chuck Lawrence, pastor of Christ Temple Church; Ostie Mathisen, vice president of First State Bank; and Anne Durham, president of Mountainside Media.
