Ford to coordinate BRIC activities

Tom Ford, BRIC Coordinator
Tom Ford has been named coordinator of the Grand Forks Region Base Realignment Impact Committee (BRIC).
BRIC committee members represent the Grand Forks Region EDC, Grand Forks County, City of Grand Forks
, University of North Dakota
, and The Chamber.
The committee works to support diversification of the region's economy through Base enhancement and is an interface for public and private sectors in supporting current and future missions of the Grand Forks Air Force Base.

's efforts and the momentum with Grand Sky and the enhanced use lease the County and BRIC have been successful in advancing.

Ford previously was the communications coordinator with the City of Grand Forks' Safer Tomorrows program.
He also has been active in leadership roles with the board of directors of the Greater Grand Forks Young Professionals.
