DisneyTouristBlog.com was founded in mid-2011 by Sarah and Tom Bricker for one purpose and one purpose only: to surpass Google as king of the internet.
While we take seriously the "objective" and "critical eye" goals listed above, it is important to note that The Walt Disney Company
has been a client of Tom's
, as he
has provided photos to the Company on a strictly freelance basis.
Sarah and Tom Bricker
make the trek to Walt Disney World and Disneyland multiple times per year.
The Brickers approach Disney trips from a different perspective than most guests; while experiencing attractions matters, their trips are more laid back and focused on enjoying the art of the Disney theme parks, fine dining, and the exceptional ambiance that makes Disney theme parks so much more than just simple amusement parks or kiddie parks.
In contrast to their relaxed touring style during the day, they stay up until ridiculous hours at night to photograph the Disney theme parks and resorts.
Sarah focuses on iPhoneography while Tom
focuses on traditional DSLR photography, and their love of Disney photography borders on obsessive.
The Brickers have been to Walt Disney World countless times together since 2006.
Prior to meeting one another, Sarah and Tom
traveled separately to Walt Disney World, taking yearly trips as children beginning in the mid-1980s.
In 2007 during their Christmas trip Tom
proposed to Sarah on the beach of Disney's Polynesian Resort during the Christmas Wishes fireworks.
In 2010, they married and headed to Walt Disney World again for their honeymoon and their first stay as Disney Vacation Club members at the BoardWalk Villas and Old Key West Resort.
Since 2006, Sarah and Tom
have dined at nearly every counter service and table service restaurant at Walt Disney World, and have stayed in nearly every Disney-owned hotel.
In 2010, the Brickers traveled to Disneyland for the first time together and instantly fell in love with Walt Disney's Original Magic Kingdom.
They have since made Disneyland a frequent vacation destination, and attended the Grand Reopening of Disney California Adventure as invited media in June 2012.
and Sarah are currently planning their first trips to the international Disney theme parks.
You can read about their various travels in their popular Disney trip reports.
When not traveling, Tom and Sarah reside in Indianapolis, where Tom is an attorney and Sarah is a nurse.
has been a guest on several Disney podcasts, with multiple guest appearances on WDW Today Podcast, Be Our Guest Podcast

has since authored two additional books:A Disneyland Christmas and Disneyland: Sunrise to Sunrise.
Those who have dared listen have learned that Tom
is a master of the tangent and that "authority" might be a strong word when describing what he
knows about photography.
Pictures of Sarah have been featured in several books, magazines, newspapers and websites.
Both Sarah and Tom
are available for interviews, to talk Disney
, or for entertainment at your next office party or child's birthday (you provide the clown costumes).
