Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Dr. Todd Schwarz, Dean of Technical Instruction at the College of Southern Idaho, has been chosen to be the Administrator of Professional-Technical Education for the State of Idaho.
He will oversee professional-technical education at high schools, colleges, and universities throughout the state.
Schwarz was a CSI drafting student in 1980, graduating in 1981.
After spending some time as a draftsman, he was hired as CSI's Drafting instructor in 1988, a job he held for the next eleven years.
In 1999, he started the Internet Technologies program, now called Web Development, where he taught for several years until he took over a new position in what was then the brand new Information Technology department.
Shortly after that, he became the chair of the Information Technology department and then a CSI dean in 2007.
