Toby Tramaseur - Violin
completed the London Philharmonic Orchestraâ€™s Apprenticeship Scheme in 2006, as one of two violinists chosen, and has since regularly performed, recorded and toured with the orchestra across Europe and Asia.
As well as working with the LPO, Toby frequently performs in Londonâ€™s west-end musicals, various film sessions and was previously a member of the Recreation Grosses Orchestra, Graz (Austria).
In 2001, Toby won first prize in the J&A Beare Classical Concerto Competition and graduated from Trinity College of Music in 2002 with a 1st Class Honours Degree, the Nicholas Roth Memorial Prize and the L.T.C.L in pedagogy (Licenciate Trinity College London).
Toby continued his studies with scholarship at the Royal Academy of Music under Diana Cummings, where he was a member of the Royal Academy Soloists, graduating with distinction and the L.R.A.M (Licenciate Royal Academy of Muisc) from the post-graduate course.
From 2006-2008 he
studies in the prestigious class of Professor Yair Kless at the University of Graz
has been awarded scholarships to take part in Masterclasses in Europe and the USA with Ruggiero Ricci, Rainer KÃ¼chel, Yair Kless, Tasmin Little and Thomas Brandis amongst others.
