retirement in 1982.He served in the U.S. Army from 1940-1945.During World War II, Mr. Brown was a Top Ballturret Gunner in a B-17 bomber where he flew 25 missions over Germany from England.He served in the 95th Bomb Group 8th Army Air Force stationed in Horham, England.He attended the Goldsberry Grade School and graduated from Rossville High School.He was a member of the Antioch Church of Christ, lifetime member of the Rossville Historical Society and Hoopeston American Legion.He
