Timothy Scala, Psy.D.
Dr. Scala received his Doctor of Psychology degree in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. His experience includes work in a variety of community mental health, medical, and educational settings in Florida. His experiences have included individual and group therapy, psychological assessment, and forensic assessment with children and adults of all ages. He has treated a wide range of illnesses that have included mood, anxiety, and conduct disorders, attention/deficit and learning disabilities, Autism and Asperger's disorders, developmental disorders, traumatic stress, substance and sexual abuse, family issues, relationship difficulties, eating disorders, and personality disorders. Dr. Scala is also a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the American College of Forensic Examiners in which he is a Certified Forensic Consultant (CFC). He currently helps children, teens adults, and families in his office or in-home visits.

Dr. Scala currently provides coaching and counseling to children, teens, adults, and families.He is also trained to assist with overeating and other compulsive/addictive habits.He offers social skills training groups for children who have behavior problems or are difficult to control as well as specialized groups for children with Autism and Asperger's disorders.Dr. Scala also provides services on a sliding fee basis and is willing to make home visits or have telephone sessions under certain circumstances.
