Timothy Lynch, PE, CEM, LEED AP
has over thirty years of experience with program management and technical marketing of energy efficiency, load management and sustainability, with management level responsibilities at SAIC and Consolidated Edison of New York.
Tim is founder and principal of tLync Energy Engineering and Consulting, which provides energy engineering, sustainability management and technology review services for commercial buildings.
Recent projects have included managing energy efficiency for five commercial bank data centers, energy audits of over 20 million s.f. of commercial building space as well as technical reviews, retro commission validation, utility cost analysis and cost/benefit studies.
Previously, Tim managed the New York metro area office for SAIC and, acting as a principal engineer, focused on client communication and project management relating to energy efficiency initiatives.
Over a 17 year career with Con Edison, Tim managed a broad range of programs relating to energy efficiency, load management, commercial space conditioning, energy control and pricing and supervised technology development in areas of ice storage, building and energy management control systems.
Earlier as a staff engineer, Tim analyzed bulk power generation, transmission and distribution systems.
In 2012, Tim
was awarded Energy Engineer of the Year for the Northeast Region by the Association of Energy Engineers
In 2011, he
received the Engineer of the Year award from the New York Chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers
He holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from The University of Detroit and a Master of Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.
