Dana is the mother of Adrick , Kayla , and Cedric.Dana has a history of alcoholism and mental health problems.The children were removed from Dana's care in August 1998 , when Dana was committed to a mental health institute for a short period of time.Dana entered several substance abuse programs , but continued to relapse and use alcohol.The State filed a petition to terminate Dana's parental rights in October 1999.The case was continued to allow Dana to complete a dual-diagnosis program.
