Judge Jarman was appointed to the bench in 1997. A native of Sioux City, Iowa, he earned his bachelor's degree from Loras College in 1977 and his law degree from the University of Iowa in 1980. He served as assistant Woodbury County attorney, assistant U.S. attorney, and worked in private practice for seven years. Judge Jarman is a member of the Woodbury County and Iowa State Bar Associations.

( 8 pages $3.20 ).Dana is the mother of Adrick , Kayla , and Cedric.Dana has a history of alcoholism and mental health problems.The children were removed from Dana's care in August 1998 , when Dana was committed to a mental health institute for a short period of time.Dana entered several substance abuse programs , but continued to relapse and use alcohol.The State filed a petition to terminate Dana's parental rights in October 1999.The case was continued to allow Dana to complete a dual-diagnosis program.
