Timm Adams Music Director Timm Adams (Director) is thrilled to be a part of this endearing production about one of country music's biggest legends. Tim holds a Masters degree in Vocal Performance from Baylor University and is currently Associate Professor of Music at Rockford College where he teaches private voice and musical theater courses, conducts three choirs, and musical directs the Performing Arts Department's main stage musicals. He is also the proud Artistic Director of the Chicago Chamber Choir, which he has conducted since 2000. Prior to his move to Rockford, Timm enjoyed an extensive career in theater, both as an actor and a musical director, performing throughout the Southeast and Midwest in such shows as Hello, Dolly! as Cornelius, Joseph and the...Dreamcoat as Joseph, Singin' in the Rain as Cosmo, Pump Boys and Dinettes as L.M., Buddy...The Buddy Holly Story as Norman Petty, and Return to the Forbidden Planet as Ariel, the rollerblading robot. Later this summer, Timm will perform in the play Rounding Third at Maples Repertory Theatre in Macon, Missouri. Thanks for joining us today!

Timm Adams, Artistic Director Timm Adams has had the honor of conducting the Chicago Chamber Choir since January of 2000, after singing with the group for one season. Adams is currently Associate Professor of Music at Rockford College in Rockford, IL, where he teaches private voice and musical theatre courses, conducts three choirs, and musical directs the Performing Arts Department's mainstage musicals. He holds a bachelor's degree in music education from Liberty University and a master's degree (M.M.) in vocal performance from Baylor University, where he served as Opera Teaching Assistant and directed several operas. A conducting student of Dr. K. Lawrence Renas and a voice student of Dr. John Van Cura, Adams has had the privilege of singing under the tutelage of Dr. Eph Ely, Dr. Hugh Sanders, Dr. Robert Young, and the renowned Dr. Robert Shaw.
