This month we are featuring one of our Senior Level III Rope Technicians, Tim White.
Tim has been with Over the Edge since 2010. As one of eleven Site Safety Supervisors with our organization, Tim has played an integral role in helping us develop and train our tech team. "My passion is teaching others technical rope skills. I am an equipment 'gear-head', and I have to know all that I can find out about a piece of equipment that I may use, or commit my life to," said Tim. In addition to pursuing outdoor adventures such as rock climbing and caving, Tim is a board member of the National Speleological Society's Vertical Section, whose purpose is to educate and train cave explorers in safe, vertical caving techniques and Single Rope Techniques (SRT). Since 2000, Tim has been the Southeast Regional Coordinator and an Instructor for the National Cave Rescue Commission.
