Washington, D.C. -Tim McFeeley, a veteran of the civil rights movement and a leader in the field of executive development, has joined the board of the Gay & Lesbian Leadership Institute (GLLI), the organization announced today.

McFeeley said his passion for helping develop the talent and leadership skills of public officials led him to join GLLI's board.
"This organization stands alone in addressing the unique career needs of openly gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender public leaders, and that's something I want to be a part of.
If we can help grow their skills, then the entire LGBT community is well served," McFeeley
McFeeley is a vice president and director of Isaacson, Miller, an executive search firm.
From 2001 until 2008, he was the Executive Director of the Center for Policy Alternatives, a national, nonprofit leadership and policy resource for state legislators.
He served as Executive Director of the Human Rights Campaign from 1989 until 1995, and practiced law in Boston for more than 18 years before that.
McFeeley received his bachelor's degree from Princeton University and his J.D. from Harvard Law School.
