Prior to joining the Kranz team, Tim held financial positions as the CFO of Benefitter Insurance Solutions (helping employers navigate the Affordable Care Act) and as a financial consultant to UpShift, Inc. (upscale car leasing).
Previously, Tim cut his entrepreneurial teeth as co-founder and VP of Finance & Operations for Senior Educators, a health exchange for Medicare insurance products, where he led all finance, operations and administrative areas from the company's inception through its acquisition.
Senior Educators became part of Hewitt Associates (later to become Aon Hewitt), where Tim oversaw financial and operational aspects of Aon Hewitt's health exchange, including financial planning and forecasting, operations process improvements and sales support.
Earlier in his career he held financial management roles at PowerBar (a division of Nestle) and STAR Television Hong Kong (a division of News Corporation).
He began his career as an Associate with the venture capital firm Summit Partners.
A native of St. Louis (and an avid baseball Cardinals fan), Tim earned a Masters of Business Administration from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Asian Studies from Dartmouth College.
In 2013 he
family visited seventeen countries, bringing his
lifetime total to over 40.
