About Tim Dillon Tim Dillon, his wife Jill and their two daughters, 11 year old Abigail and 9 year old Emma, live in the town of Yarrow Point, Washington. Tim grew up in a Munster, Indiana. His family of nine moved to Bellevue in 1987 seeking the many opportunities of the Great Northwest. He graduated from Bellevue High School and attended both Washington State University and the University of Washington. His interest in Internet Technology started well before he began his career with Microsoft. Tim worked his way up from the position of a Software Test Engineer to a Senior Director, where he managed various MSNBC, MSN and Windows Live services at Microsoft. Subsequently, he made a career change after 11 years with Microsoft and transitioned to Expedia, where he worked extensively on their technology portfolio. Over the years, Tim found himself increasingly interested in local government and how he could make improvements in the community in which his family lives. In 2009, he pursued his first public service position and was elected as a councilman in the Yarrow Point Township. His principles of lower taxes, while maintaining vital community services, garnered him much support from the local residents in his community. In light of the current economic and political environment, Tim became very concerned, like many of his fellow citizens, with the issues and challenges facing America. He wanted to have a broader impact by providing a voice to those outside the political establishment. Tim spent much time revisiting and reflecting upon the writings of our Forefathers and Constitution in an effort to find answers relating to the core principles upon which our country was founded. Tim cares deeply about the future of our children, and he has decided it is time to step up and work to make a difference as your citizen representative. He will utilize his knowledge, conservative principles, and the wisdom of others in order to have a positive impact on the lives of people of Washington State and citizens of our great Country. http://www.dillonforcongress.com/
