Zalex, Inc. was founded by Tim Davis to offer CIO advisory and business technology services to small and mid-size companies.
Prior to starting Zalex, Tim was CIO of Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen from 2005 - 2009 where he was responsible for establishing and directing the policies, procedures and strategic long term goals for the global resturant chain's technology department.
While at Popeyes, Tim
won the prestigious Georgia CIO of the Year award.
Before Popeyes, Davis managed global technology and facilties for Inovis, Inc. in Atlanta, Amsterdam and Karlsruhe, Germany.
Davis' success in quickly and successfully implementing ERP and CRM applications helped his
team earn the prestigious CIO Magazine CIO 100 award in 2000 for Inovis
While serving as Inovis' senior technology executive in Europe in 1999 and 2000, Davis assembled and managed the European IT group following the acquisition of offices in Italy, Germany, France, The Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
Prior to his experience at Inovis, Inc., Davis spent seven years in various technology management positions at Dun & Bradstreet Software, previously Management Science America.
Davis is a graduate of the University of Georgia where he studied Management Information Systems.

He is a member of the Technology Association of Georgia and has served as an advisory board member for the Georgia CIO Leadership Association and TechLINKS.
Davis also serves on the advisory boards for Hyperactive Technologies, Hospitality Technology Magazine, and the World BPO Forum.
