Prior to co-founding Firestone-Callahan & Associates, Mr. Callahan was president, chief operating officer, and a partner of SYMX Corporation, a global provider of medical equipment services and products utilizing advanced RFID technology.
He also spent 7 years with Owens & Minor, a fortune 500 company.

While helping drive business growth, his
leadership introduced a unitized surgical delivery product, established a clinically focused specialties organization, and introduced a private label program to enhance margin and brand recognition.
Prior to Owens & Minor, Mr. Callahan was with Sterile Concepts, Inc., where he then served as the V.P. of Sales & Marketing until its acquisition by Maxxim Medical.

While at Sterile Concepts
, Mr. Callahan
participated in the acquisition of three companies and was part of the team responsible for taking the company public.
Mr. Callahan came to Sterile Concepts through an acquisition of Harbor Medical, Inc. where he was a principal and Executive Vice President, producing custom procedure trays (CPT) for surgery in the southeast.
Before Sterile Concepts, Mr. Callahan was also a co-founder of Clinical Patient Services, Inc., providing acute care services and equipment to home care patients.
As the company's President, he established the first licensed facility in the State of Florida for Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC); providing comprehensive care to medically dependent children.

Prior to CPS, Mr. Callahan was a partner in BimEco, Inc., a company providing advancing clinical technology for infusion therapy and vital signs monitoring to critical care, surgery and anesthesia areas.
He began his career with American Hospital Supply.
Mr. Callahan holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Marquette University.
