Tiana plays two important roles for Bon AppÃ©tit
As the Manager of the Adobe Lodge
is responsible for the overall success of the Adobe Lodge CafÃ© and Catering that offers sustainable, local, tasty food to the faculty, staff and guests of the University.
As Executive Chef, she plans and executes menus that are both healthy and delicious entirely from scratch.
A graduate of the University of Southern California, Tiana acquired her culinary certification from the California School of Culinary Arts in Pasadena in 1999.
Tiana started her professional culinary career at the J. Paul Getty Center in Los Angeles.
From there, she
went on to manage another Bon AppÃ©tit account, Sony Music, in Santa Monica.
Three years back in her
home town, Corning, in upstate New York had her
working in the Finger Lakes area creating innovative dishes with local product influenced by California cuisine.
Upon returning to Los Angeles, Tiana worked for the Patina Restaurant Group under the influence of infamous chef, Joachim Splichal.
After a season as Sous Chef at the Rooftop Restaurant at the Hollywood Bowl
and five years as Chef de Cuisine at the botanical Descanso Gardens in La Canada Flintridge, Tiana
moved to Northern California and Santa Clara University
With a passion for people and food, she
strives to please one with the other with great success.
