Thomas J. Lykos, Jr ., is a member of our board of directors, a position he has held since December 2005.From May 1995 to the present, Mr. Lykos has been a founder and President of Home and Hearth, Inc., a developer and operator of economy extended-stay hotels.From 1990 to 1995, Mr. Lykos served as Director of the Financial Institutions Group at Rauscher Pierce Refsnes, a full service investment bank, where he specialized in public and private offerings and mergers and acquisitions in a variety of industries including banks, thrifts, real estate investment trusts, mortgage banks and insurance companies.From 1988 to 1990, Mr. Lykos served as a Deputy Director of the FSLIC specializing in the resolution of insolvent financial institutions.From 1983 to 1988, Mr. Lykos served as Legal Counsel to the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs and Legal Counsel to the House Committee of Energy and Commerce in Washington, D.C. From 1982 to 1983, Mr. Lykos was an attorney for the United States Securities and Exchange Commission in the Division of Enforcement, and between 1981 and 1982, he was a corporate litigation attorney with the law firm of Bracewell and Patterson in Washington, D.C.Mr. Lykos received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard College and a Juris Doctor from the University of Texas School of Law.
The Audit Committee currently consists of John S. Reiland, Thomas J. Lykos Jr. and Harold D Kahn, all of whom are considered "independent" under Rule 4200(a)(15)of the National Association of Securities Dealers listing standards.

Partner and Managing Director
Mr. Lykos is a Partner and Managing Director for the Fund Management team. He is primarily involved in evaluating investment strategies for the Private Equity team and serves as a member of the Investment Committee for Commerce Street Financial Partners, LP.
Mr. Lykos joined the firm in February, 2009 with over 30 years of experience involving the reorganization and resolution processes in the financial services industry. Previously, Mr. Lykos was a Managing Director at Rauscher, Pierce Refsnes where he was responsible for developing and implementing resolution strategies for failed or failing financial institutions. He also was the Executive Director of FSLIC (The Southwest Plan) participating in its creation. Prior to his service with FSLIC, he was Counsel to the U.S. Senate Banking Committee and Energy & Commerce Committee. He began his legal career as an attorney in the Enforcement Division of the Securities and Exchange Commission and as an Associate with Bracewell & Patterson.
Mr. Lykos has a BA in History and Economics from Harvard College where he graduated Cum Laude and he received a JD from The University of Texas, Austin. He is a member of the District of Columbia and Texas Bar Associations.
