Thomas A. Andrew, MD Office of Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Andrew is currently Chief Medical Examiner for the State of New Hampshire. He is a graduate of the University of Dayton (1978) and the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine (1982). Dr. Andrew completed a residency in pediatrics at Cincinnati Children's Medical Center in 1985 and served as co-chief resident of pediatrics in 1985-1986. He then joined a six-person private practice until 1991 when he returned to the University of Cincinnati for a residency in anatomic pathology.

Andrew, Chief Medical Examiner Then Deputy Chief, Dr. James Kaplan, served as Acting Chief Medical Examiner until September, 1997 when Dr. Thomas Andrew was named New Hampshire's second Chief Medical Examiner.Dr. Andrew designated me to become certified in HazMat Response.Dr. Andrew has recently been appointed by the Association of Sudden Infant Death Programs to be the lead author in their forthcoming paper regarding current recommendations for the investigation of sudden, unexpected deaths in infancy. Andrew and Duval are in the embryonic stages of the implementation of an exchange program designed to provide much needed training and technical advice to the Medical Examiner's Office struggling to emerge in the violent wake of the dissolution of Yugoslavia.Dr. Thomas A.
