Terri is the co-founder and trustee of Summit 54.
focuses on Summit 54
's work in Roaring Fork Valley district RE1 where she
seeks to support all students achieve higher outcomes by focusing on bridging the achievement gap between advantaged and disadvantaged students.
That focus led her
to recruit Summer Advantage USA, a nationally renown summer learning program to the district.
"Addressing summer learning loss is one of the most effective strategies for impacting student achievement, particularly in communities where students lack the resources to enroll in their own quality summer programming.
Terri manages the Summit 54 sponsored Summer Advantage program in the RFV and is leading efforts to identify other initiatives to support children in the region.
Terri also oversees other statewide programs of the foundation.
Terri has a background in Journalism, public relations, marketing, sales and management.
A graduate of University of California, San Diego, her first job after graduation was as a television reporter.
She subsequently became the PR Director for the Snowmass Resort Association and then Communications Director for the Aspen Skiing Company.
She then served as Senior VP for the Aspen Glen development company and was in charge of Marketing, Sales, and the PUD approval process.
then ran the Four Peaks Development sales office as managing broker before "retiring" to work in philanthropic activities.
She serves on the Theatre Aspen Board, the Christmas Wish Board, and is the current president of the Aspen Rotary Club.
