published many documents for ICOM
, including the entire A.I. Series Online Help System.He
also wrote the A.I. Series PLC-3 manual, and many parts of the PLC-5 and SLC-500 manuals.When customer demand for training on the A.I. Series software began to appear, Terry became the first "official" trainer for ICOM.
In 1990, Terry
took on the role of manager of ICOM's sales & technical support office in the United Kingdom, and served there for just under three years.
On returning to the U.S., Terry
became responsible for two major areas, international support and the training department.Terry
handled all international issues until the merger with A-B.Terry
also developed ICOM's
training department.For the first year, he was the only trainer, taking over training from the product development teams.He
also hired new trainers and developed the original training curriculum (including courses and courseware). Terry
also worked as a senior applications engineer on the development team for the SoftLogix 5 controller, coordinating the beta programs for that product, as well as doing applications and training work in the early stages of SoftLogix 5's release. Terry is Microsoft Certified in various products as well as being an MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) and an MCT (Microsoft Certified Trainer).
