Crawford County Clerk Teresa Armer will be a candidate for re-election for another two-year term.
If re-elected, it would be Armer's fourth term as county clerk, and she
has 21 years experience in the clerk's office.

The county clerk's office is responsible for maintaining guardianship, decedents, small estate, mental incompetence and adoptions for the probate division.
They also issue marriage licenses, maintain voter registration, early and absentee voting, are responsible for accounts payable, county payroll and insurance, state redemption deeds reports, receipts and expenditure reports.

The county clerk also serves as secretary for the Crawford
County Quorum Court, Crawford County Board of Equalization
and Intergovernmental Council

Armer is a member of the Arkansas Association of County Clerks, Van Buren First Assembly of God, Kiwanis Club of Van Buren, BOST board of directors, Van Buren Women's League, Transverse Myelitis Disability Association and treasurer of the Crawford County Central Committee.
Armer served two years as vice president of the Crawford County Democratic Women, second vice president for Kiwanis of Van Buren and volunteers with various fund raisers for Arkansas Children's Hospital and Arkansas Special Olympics.
