Board Names Terry Barton
as High School PrincipalOn August 8, 2006, the Bronxville Board of Education named Terry Barton of Loveland, Ohio as Principal of Bronxville High School.
The probationary appointment is for three years.Mr. Barton is currently principal of Indian Hill High School.
Located in a suburb of Cincinnati, Indian Hill
has consistently ranked in the top tier of schools in the state and the nation. Mr. Barton has led Indian Hill High School since 2001.Prior to that he was a high school principal in Birmingham, Michigan and associate principal and director of athletics at Lake Forest, Illinois.He held administrative positions in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin, and taught and coached at New Trier High School, Illinois.Mr. Barton earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics at Lakeland College and a master's degree from the University of Wisconsin.

New York certification was validated, a process that required several weeks. Barton
received unanimously favorable comments from the interview committee.One screening committee member commented, "He

and presented himself as a seasoned administrator with the skill set needed to meet our expectations.His
wit, personable nature, and ability to command respect surfaced consistently throughout his
responses, making him a good fit for Bronxville
