...Teo Torres is a general assignment reporter based in KRON 4's South Bay bureau.He
joined the station in January 2001. Teo came to KRON 4 from KTRV-TV in Boise, Idaho, where he was a weekend anchor and reporter.Prior to KTRV, he worked as an anchor at KVEW-TV in Washington's Tri-Cities area, where he covered the Hanford Nuclear Reservation, one of the most polluted nuclear sites in the country.Teo

enjoys broadcast journalism because it allows him to live history on a daily basis.He
says of one of his
favorite television experiences, "My most memorable moment was interviewing astronaut Buzz Aldren.What an amazing American hero!"
Growing up, Teo
moved several times.He
was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and moved to Idaho, Central America, Alaska, Washington, and Arizona.But now he
says, "I plan to take a long breather here in the Bay Area."
When not covering local news, you can find Teo
becoming very frustrated at a local golf course, or exploring the beauty of the Bay Area."I can't believe I live and work in California - what a great place!"
