for Nano sciences and Nano Technology, Centres for China
, Afghanistan and Sikkim Studies and new courses such as M.A.
in early childhood development, post-graduate diploma
in broadcasting technology, M.Tech
in earthquake engineering and so on.
also said that efforts are being made to acquire about 40 acres of additional land adjacent to the Jamia Campus itself which strangely enough is UP government's land which is a pahari or 'hilly' area, and there is a dispute over it between Delhi government and UP government for its possession.
A well-known student of Jamia, Afroz Alam Sahil who has distinguished himself as the R.T.I. man, described the invitation extended to Khanna and his presence in this Convocation as a condemnable and mean step by Jamia authorities.
