Ted Wachtel spoke about his new book Dreaming of a New Reality
The Village Church in Cummington (32 Main Street) was pleased to welcome author Ted Wachtel to speak about his new book Dreaming of a New Reality on Saturday, June 15, at 7pm. He also delivered a message during our Sunday morning worship service on the 16th, followed by a work shop on that afternoon.
Ted Wachtel is president and founder of the International Institute for Restorative Practice (iirp.edu), an accredited master's degree granting graduate school based in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, with affiliates and licensees in 16 countries. Dreaming of a New Reality is an inspirational narrative that shows how thirty-five years of dreams and dedication can lead to proven results - healing victims, preventing bullying, curbing conflict and boosting satisfaction and productivity.
Wachtel focused on telling stories from the book to demonstrate the transformative potential when those in authority do things with people, rather than to them or for them - in schools, justice systems, families and workplaces.
