Ted Miltenberger , retired after over 20 years as head of the theater department at the American School of Paris, having taught in Milan and acted and taught in the US.
He was one of the founders of the groundbreaking International Schools Theatre Association (ISTA), which organizes festivals and promotes educational exchanges between schools throughout the world.
Ted now teaches as an adjunct for Michigan State University and gives workshops and seminars in ensemble technique for the classroom around the world.

Ted Miltenberger has worked with Michigan State University for the past ten years in developing a course applying ensemble techniques to the classroom.
He has worked in theatre education for more than 30 years, establishing theatre curricula in Madison, Wisconsin; Milan, Italy; and Paris, France, where he recently retired as the head of the theatre department at the American School of Paris.
He was co-founder of the International Schools Theatre Association (ISTA) and is a past president.
He continues to host and participate in ISTA theatre festivals, workshops and symposia throughout the world.
