has also written for the series "Paradise Falls" (Showcase) and "Singles Court" (syndication).Tassie's short film script, "Chez Amore," won the Bronze medal for Original Short Drama at Worldfest Houston.The film has played at numerous festivals, including Palm Springs and Yorktown.She has written for Shift Magazine, and is also a regular comic commentator for CBC Radio's "Definitely Not The Opera."From 1997-99, Tassie was Manager of Post Production at HBO NYC, HBO's feature film division, supervising award-winning films like Subway Stories and A Lesson Before Dying.
Before going corporate, she
post-supervised Wayne Wang's Chinese Box, Mira Nair's Kama Sutra, and post-coordinated the Darren Star/CBS television series "Central Park West."While in New York completing her Masters in Film & Cinema Studies at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Tassie produced, directed and edited 10-20 Berlin, a documentary on bike-messenger subculture for the CBC.She began her graduate study in film at the Sorbonne in Paris, and has an Honours degree in English from the University of Toronto.Tassie
