Medical Center; team-teaching courses for Western Washington University; coordinating babysitting classes, fitting bike helmets and doing consulting work for Seattle Children's; delivering an educational intervention to spouses of women diagnosed with breast cancer for a research team at University of Washington; teaching first aid, CPR and infant safety courses at Overlake Medical Center; promoting the online Guide to Long Term Care for the VA; and doing contract consulting, writing and editing for numerous clients.
areas of interest include maternal child health, injury prevention, developmental pediatrics, patient and family centered care, health literacy, school health issues, hospital-based patient education, and active training.
