TANYA SHNAYDMAN Principal (781) 694.0404 (X 9) (617) 688.4858 (C) (781) 694.0414 (F) Tanya Shnaydman joined Ross & Company from Korn/Ferry International (KFI), where she was a member of the Global Life Sciences Practice. While at Korn/Ferry, Tanya worked on senior level searches for venture-backed, emerging growth companies, with a special focus on biopharmaceutical businesses working on cutting edge discovery and drug development targets. In addition to her biotech work, Tanya's expertise was leveraged across pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, medical device and device-enabled services projects. Over her search career, Tanya has led and contributed to searches for CEO's/Chief Business Officers of life sciences companies, as well as for CFO's, Chief Scientific Officers, Chief Medical Officers, and Business Development leaders. Her clients have been based throughout North America and Europe. Tanya was a founding member of Korn/Ferry's Associate Advantage Leadership Team, a core group of recruiters who architected and implemented an internal, web-based, recruiter portal. This live, integrated resource assists in the orientation and training of new recruiters, while also aiding in the career development and continuing education of human capital within that firm. Tanya joined Korn/Ferry from the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council where she had served as Industry Development Manager. In this role, she managed the Council's economic development portfolio with the objective of increasing life sciences investment in the Boston Region. Tanya personally led the efforts to recruit various biopharmaceutical organizations to Massachusetts, including Organon International, now part of Schering-Plough Corporation, establishing Organon's first U.S. Research operation. Tanya is recognized across the life sciences sector as a trusted advisor to clients and candidates alike. While at Korn/Ferry, in collaboration with MIT Sloan Alumni Association and Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research, she organized a panel discussion entitled "Market, License, or Acquisition: Biotech Exit Strategies. This event brought together over 100 industry thought leaders, including prominent venture/private equity investors and leading life sciences executives in the Boston area. Tanya holds a B.A. in History from Boston University and is the Biotechnology Industry Chair of the MIT Sloan Alumni Club's Boston Chapter.
