T.J. Britton, a 6-foot-3 guard from Mineral Area College, signed during the early signing period to play basketball with the Lions next year.

This season, Britton is averaging 11 points, 7.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 3.3 steals per game as a sophomore for Mineral Area, a team that's currently 6-0 and ranked No. 19 in the NJCAA Preseason poll.
Last season, Britton averaged 4.2 points and 3.1 assists per game with the Cardinals.He shot 41.8 percent from the field, including 46.7 percent from three-point range.
Britton came to Mineral Area from Florssant Valley Community College where he competed in track & field and was a junior college All-American.
He prepped at Poplar Bluff (Mo.) High School, where he was an all-conference, all-district and honorable mention all-state performer on the hardcourt.He was also all-state and a high school All-American in track & field.
Britton, who will be a junior with the Lions, joins Kyle Schrage (Carl Junction, Mo.) on the Lions' list of early signees.
