OTT oversees the UC systemwide efforts to encourage the utilization of the results of University research for the public benefit and assists members of the faculty and staff in patenting and licensing inventions and in working with industry in support of the University's education, research, and public service mission.Dr. Quick
provides direction for the systemwide information systems function in technology transfer and has been responsible for a variety of initiatives designed to strengthen the University's relationships with industry in the technology transfer arena.She completed her doctoral studies in Education at Stanford University where she also received her MS degree in Science Education.She received her undergraduate degree in Communications Arts and Biology from Cornell University.She previously served on the research staff of the RAND Corporation, was Associate Director for education at the American Psychiatric Association and Director of Education for the American Academy of Ophthalmology.Suzanne currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM) as Vice President, Western Region.
