Senior Community Development Director 949.629.2482 Susan Lindquist leads the strategic planning and entitlement process for the Southern California region of The True Life Companies. Her background embodies over twenty-five years of experience, guiding and managing the entitlement process and land development for homebuilders and land developers Cook-Hill Properties, Centex Homes, Polygon/Lennar, and Costain Homes. In her role with TTLC, Susan leverages her knowledge and expertise to lead the project managers, providing analysis and recommendations for market feasibility and community design, environmental mitigation, financial feasibility and the political aspects of community development. A dedicated professional with a proven track record, Susan has many notable accomplishments. While Vice President of Community Development for Centex Homes from 1999 to 2007, Susan was responsible for the competition and award of the Master Developer status for Centex, in partnership with Shea Homes and Shea Properties, for the development of the Tustin Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS). She went on to manage and direct the $11 Million, 2-1/2 year entitlement and plan amendment process for 850 acres comprising 1200+ homesites, 7+ million square feet of non-residential use and 170 acres of open space for the Tustin MCAS. In 2007 Susan founded The Bridge Advisory Group, where she consulted with a long list of respected homebuilders and land developers, providing guidance and obtaining approvals on local, state and federal entitlements. She led project consultant teams from conceptual design, to planning, engineering and environmental documents, through to construction documents. Susan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, with emphasis in Constitutional Law and Public Administration from the University of California, Los Angeles. She is also active in industry organizations such as the Building Industry Association and American Planning Association, and she is a former board member of the Home Builders Council.
