Susan McSherrySusan McSherry, NYC Department of Transportation, is a City Planner level II, and Program Manager for the Alternative Fuels Program at the Department of Transportation for the City of New York.Ms. McSherry has a BA in Liberal Arts from The City College of New York, and Masters Degree in Urban Planning from Hunter College.Ã‚ Her responsibilities include the development of projects and financial grants which assist the City in adopting clean, efficient technologies, and undertaking pilot projects to further advance research and development of cleaner fuels and vehicles.Ã‚ She currently is working on a project to design and install natural gas fueling stations for the City's vehicle fleet.Ã‚ She also assists with coordination and development of the NYC Clean Cities Program- a voluntary public/private partnership with the U.S. Department of Energy to reduce dependence on foreign oil and improve air quality.Ã‚ Ms. McSherry was born and raised in the Bronx.
