has over six years of experience in the evaluation and management of vitreoretinal diseases.Born in Warsaw, Poland, Dr. Malinowski grew up in the Detroit Area and completed her undergraduate and medical education in six years in the University of Michigan combined undergraduate and medical school program (Inteflex) in 1988.
After completing an internship at William Beaumont Hospital
residency training at the University of Iowa
fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin
in Milwaukee in 1994. Dr. Malinowski
is dedicated to education and advancements in vitreoretinal disease.She is the author of numerous articles, has lectured extensively, and serves as an officer of the Michigan Ophthalmological Society's statewide program director for continuing medical education.In addition, Dr. Malinowski is a clinical instructor at Wayne State University where she also serves on the admissions committee for the ophthalmology residency program.She scored first in the nation on the Ophthalmology National Board Examination and serves as an examiner for the American Board of Ophthalmology.Dr. Malinowski is a fellow of the American Board of Ophthalmology, the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of the Vitreous Society.She is on staff of the William Beaumont Hospital, Straith Hospital, St. John Macomb Hospital, and the Detroit Medical Center Hospitals. Dr. Malinowski
is dedicated to providing expert and compassionate care to her
patients in partnership with their referring doctors.
