Heidi Latsky, choreographer and director of Heidi Latsky Dance will join dancers, Kris Larsen and Maurice Sterling, from the Chicago community, along with Heidi Latsky Dance Company member, Jerron Herman, and dance/movement therapist, Lisa Goldman, in a conversation moderated by Susan Imus, about dance/movement therapy, dance making, and performing with mixed abilities.
Susan Imus, MA, LCPC, BC-DMT, GL-CMA, (Moderator) Susan is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Creative Arts Therapies at Columbia College Chicago. She has worked at numerous hospitals across the United States and has been a consultant to universities, hospitals, and corporations worldwide. She co-founded the Graduate Laban Certificate in Movement Analysis (GL-CMA) program in 2001 and founded the Shannon Hardy Making Connections Suicide Prevention Program at Columbia College Chicago in 2002. She is chair of the Education, Research, and Practice Committee of the ADTA. Susan also earned the first annual excellence in education award by the ADTA in 2006.
