HUMMEL TOVICE PRESIDENT - TELEVISION DISTRIBUTION, CANADA ,Santa Monica, CA -- MGM Worldwide Television Distribution Group, a unit of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc. (NYSE: MGM), has hired Susan Hummel to serve as Vice President - Television Distribution, Canada.
...,Based in Toronto, Ms. Hummel will oversee distribution and sales of all MGM programming to stations in the Canadian pay, basic cable, pay-per-view and free television markets.

demonstrated talents and abilities to provide maximum support to the Company's intensified production efforts."

...,Ms. Hummel comes to MGM from Comedy Central in New York, where she most recently served as Vice President, Programming and Acquisitions.
In that position, she
was responsible for developing scheduling strategies for all original and acquired programming, managing scheduling for all on-air promotion elements, as well as negotiating the rights for acquired programming.She began her tenure with Comedy Central in 1999 as Director, Programming and Acquisitions. Previously, Ms. Hummel worked for Nickelodeon in New York, where she advanced to Programming Manager.
In that capacity, she
designed programming schedules, strategies and on-air promotions for Nick Jr., Nickelodeon
and Nick at Nite.Prior to Nickelodeon, she held a junior marketing position with FX Cable Networks.She holds an honours bachelors of arts degree in history from the University of Western Ontario.
