Featured in this issue are articles on Jenifer and Dane Clark's ocean current and weather seminar for the Offshore Yachts Rendezvous, the 2 Millionth Visitor to The Bahamas visit to the Green Turtle Club, Shaneel Adderley, our intern from the Bahamas Hotel Training College, and a complete round-up of this years billfish tournament by Tournament Director Sue Graves.
It was great to see all our familiar boats returning back to their favorite slips, Sea Prompt (Sandra & Ed Bleckner and their Offshore Yachts Group), Mistapal (Louise & Art Yergi who chartered a boat for one day of the tournament to win the grouper award and best photo with Louise's wild bikini T! ), Motu Iti (Estelle & Sandy Estabrook, actually on a rental boat this time), all the tournament boats led by Predator (Sue & Glen Silker who won so much hardware next year's tournament should be renamed the Predator Challenge!) and Uptick (Captain Kenny and his wild bunch from New Orleans, winners for the third year in a row of the most coveted trophy, the Tipsy Turtle Largest Bar Tab Award).
...We also would like to give a big thanks to our wonderful Fishing Tournament Committee, Director Sue Graves, Raul Miranda, Michael "Barnaby" Jones, and Nikki Shaw for putting on another terrific tournament and in keeping with the motto, "The tournament is so much fun, sometimes I forget I am there to fish."
