The others on the panel are, from left, moderator Erin OHearn of 6ABC Action News; Tim McAleer (GA 09), post-production and editing with Florentine Films; Stuart Miller (GA 90), producer of The Daily Show; and Susannah Ludwig, executive producer and co-founder of Snapdragon Films.
The panel, which was moderated by Erin OHearn of 6ABC Action News, included producers Paul Mezey and Susannah Ludwig along with Germantown Academy alumni Stuart Miller (Class of 1990), a producer with The Daily Show, and Tim McAleer, (Class of 2009), who works in editing and post-production at Florentine Films. One of the best things I learned at The Daily Show is there are days where waiting for some that divine intervention for the amazing joke thats going to come, you do hit some days like that, but there are a lot of days where youre just not feeling it and those are the days where you really have to write, thats where you will really keep your job, Miller said. One thing you guys will see, is that its beyond just writer, director, producer; there are so many jobs and its such a big field that finding your place in it is what takes a bit of time, a bit of doing, Miller said.
