Launched on Tuesday by acting general manager of PWS, Stuart Lennox, the booklet aims to be Tasmania's essential bushwalking guide and trip planner, assisting multi-day bushwalkers to be self-reliant and well-equipped in order to complete their walk safely.
Parks and Wildlife Services Strategy and Sustainable Use Manager, Stuart Lennox, said the identification of potential wildlife viewing sites and their development as wildlife viewing experiences, is one of the key recommendations of the Tasmanian Wildlife Tourism Strategy that was released last year.
