While working as an assessor for a major television network, Dr. Steve Stanard recognized a need for a more streamlined contestant recruitment and testing process.
Based on this need Dr. Stanard
and colleagues have developed a comprehensive test battery that utilizes the same components that a typical reality TV application and interview process would contain.
This allows for the collection of more detailed information from a greater number of potential contestants then previously possible.
The staff of Be On the Show
includes Ph.D. and Masters level industrial organizational psychologists, project managers, interns and information technology professionals.
Prior to working in the television industry Dr. Stanard worked in the human resources consulting industry at Stanard and Associates, a firm specializing in employee surveys and testing/assessment system design.
also teaches courses in industrial organizational psychology as a visiting professor at various Chicago universities.
