Chiropractic Awareness Council Spring Conference
Hi I'm Dr. Frank Sovinsky and welcome to DC MentorsV-blog.
continuing my heavy duty conversation with Dr. Steve Silk
and we were in the process of talking about vitalism.
What I got from listening to you was that this isn't about a theory, but it's living in a world of pragmatic because you keep insisting that vitalism is about your hands and touching people.
Can you expand on the word intent when you go to touch people because you're in practice, you love practice.
I listen, I read some of your Facebook messages like "I just wish this patient would of listened.
So when you touch somebody what do you feel?
Dr. Silk - In that split second I'm a Chatty Cathy, I do a lot of talking in my practice.
- I just shut my trap for that 2 seconds, "Be well."
- I have no doubt, that every single person that comes into my office, and your office, and Dr. Brian's office or Dr. Raelynn's office that they're going to get better at some level, some miraculous recoveries I've been very privileged to participate in with people and some that maybe just they slept a little better.
- I agree, either we set expectations for the patient and they don't meet it and that deflates and creates dissolution within the practitioner or the patient has an idea of what they want and they set their expectations too high and we can't deliver that either.
