I was happy to meet Stephen, who sent us friendly email about Life Balance when he moved to the Boston area just a short time ago.We found him some recommendations for local restaurants in the Burlington area, and I thought he might enjoy getting to know the NEPUG group. So Stephen came into town to say hi!I couldn,t have been more tickled!
...So I got email from our friend, Steve Patt, of Stevens Creek Software recently documenting his experiences in his endurance run which he completed a couple of months ago.
It was his
second 100-mile race, the Angeles Crest 100, from Wrightwood to Pasadena, which he
was able to complete in just under 30 hours! His
account of the race makes for a great read, even though it is fairly long, and covers some of the ,technical, aspects of endurance running.
And what I found most inspiring were the times where he
was faced with decisions affecting his
time, the condition of his
shoes and feet, or the safety of his
journey, and he
would simply look at the situation and say ,you gotta do what you gotta do.,
