Names Steven Fetherolf Construction Manager for the American Centrifuge Plant
PIKETON, Ohio - USEC Inc. has named Steven Fetherolf as its Construction Manager for the American Centrifuge Plant. He will report to Jim Bolon, Director of Engineering, Procurement and Construction. In this assignment, Fetherolf will provide interface and coordination of the construction activities being performed by Fluor, which is providing engineering, procurement and construction management services for USEC Inc.'s American Centrifuge Plant in Piketon. "I am excited to have Steve join the Commercial Plant project team," said Bolon. Steve is a great addition to our team." Fetherolf previously served in the Construction Engineering department for USEC Inc.'s American Centrifuge since 2004. Fetherolf originally came to the Piketon plant as a Construction Engineer in 1976 for Goodyear Atomic. He was involved in numerous construction projects, and he was promoted to various supervisory positions in engineering at the site over the next 24 years except for a two-year period when he lived and worked in Missouri. He then served for four years as a Project Engineer for Bechtel Jacobs LLC before returning to USEC to help deploy the American Centrifuge. Fetherolf began his engineering career in the United States Navy where he served for four years. He earned a bachelor of science in civil engineering from Ohio University.
