, which invested in equity positions of privately and publicly held companies.In the early 70's, Durham was the founder of Durham Resources, an investment management enterprise with interests in an architectural-engineering, natural gas distribution, health care, ownership of multiple banks, a land development and investments in commercial and residential real estate.Mr. Durham holds a BS degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska and has participated numerous times in the Harvard Business School YPO Management Seminar.A native of Nebraska, Durham served in the US Army Corps of Engineers as a 1st Lieutenant and began his career as an investment banker.While living in Omaha, he served on a number of boards, including the Omaha Symphony, the Midwest Regional Board of the Boys Clubs of America, Junior Achievement and the Young Presidents Organization (YPO).In academia, he served as vice chairman of Nebraska Wesleyan University, and contributed to his alma mater, the University of Nebraska, by serving on the Medical School and University Foundation Board, as well as a number of advisory panels for the Chancellor and the President.Since his move to Texas in 1996, Durham has become active in the Chief Executive Officer Association (CEO), chapter chairman of the World Presidents Organization (WPO).Durham was also the chairman of the US Olympic Golf Tournament and the chairman of WPO's Southwestern Rocky Mountain Area Conference, the Rotary Club of Downtown Dallas and the Southwest Regional Board of the Boys and Girls Clubs of America.He currently serves on the board of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Past Chairman of Thanksgiving Square, Harvard Club and the Zoological society.He is a member of the Highland Park Methodist Church.
