Screenwriter and filmmaker Steven Arvanites was looking for support in NYC.
He suspected other screenwriters were looking for the same thing. So, he formed NYCscreenwriter, a Manhattan-based network that, today, serves as home base for over 1,000 city scribes. TAGS: NYCscreenwriter, Steven Arvanites, workshopping, Writers Groups Script has been the leading source for information on the craft and business of writing for film and television for over 15 years. Go, Steven! I have attended the workshops that NYCscreenwriter and Steven produces every month. I can honestly say that not only are the guest speakers informative, knowledgeable and helpful, they are also professionals and at the peak of their game. Steven is a great screenwriter, motivator and teacher. He is available to help with any writing blocks or fears that you may have. Also, Steven helped me with my script when I was at a loss; it was so easy collaborating with him and the end result was amazing . It's the best money I ever spent on a "tutor". Again, thanks a lot, Steven!
