Dr. Steve Sniadach, MD
Dr. Steve Sniadach, MD started his career as a respiratory therapist in 1975.
decided to further his
studies with a Bachelors degree in biology from the University of Maryland.
In 1983, Dr. Sniadach graduated from the University of Maryland with a Medical degree.
then spent the next four years completing two different residencies.
surgical residency at Sinai hospital in Baltimore, Maryland and then went on to complete an Anesthesia residency at the Monmouth Medical Center
in New Jersey.
From 1986-2011, Dr. Sniadach worked as a general anesthesiologist and pain medicine physician for Kaiser Permanente in Denver.
Dr. Sniadach was chairman of the anesthesia department of Saint Joseph hospital for 14 years and director of Anesthesia education for 23 years.
received outstanding teaching and doctor awards during his
has spent the last 25 years treating chronic back pain with lumbar epidural steroid injections (LESI) and trigger point injections.
realized early on that the LESI's were effective; however the pain seemed to return after 3-5 months.
This led Dr. Sniadach
to do research into the effects of an anti-inflammatory diet and alternative methods of treating back pain.
recently earned the Cenegenics Age Management Medicine certificate.
continues to council chronic pain patients about the benefits of a healthy diet and the effects that it can have on lowering pain.
