Mr. Rodos is a retired Attorney who practiced in Philadelphia. After moving with his wife, into The Villages of Flowers Mill, an over 55 community, he read an article in the Bucks County Courier Times about a woman who had instituted a program in conjunction with the Council Rock School District to enable senior citizens to impart their life experiences by helping out in their schools.
Mr. Rodos met with Beryl Katz and was impressed with the program.
In addition to his work with Senior Adults for Greater Education, Mr. Rodos is the past president of the Flowers Mill Homeowners Association and also a past president of Shir Ami Synagogue in Newtown, Pennsylvania.

In the clubhouse lobby, board president Steve Rodos pointed to a coffee table covered in puzzle pieces."We try to keep a jigsaw puzzle on the table there that the residents can do," he said.

"It is a fairness issue," said association board President Steve Rodos, "not an age-related issue."
Rodos and others involved in the suit want the entire county reassessed at current rates.The county commissioners have said the multi-million dollar cost of reassessment makes it prohibitive.
"I don't blame anybody in an older home for not wanting their taxes to go up," Rodos said, "but my understanding of the law is that it should be fair for everyone."
