Steve Ma
Steve Ma is Live Green's Board President and GEO (Green Executive Officer). Based in Washington DC and founded in 2008, Live Green is an innovative and highly effective cross between a grassroots membership organization, triple-bottom line business network, and green certifier that makes it easier and more affordable for consumers and businesses to make eco-friendly choices. Live Green drives practical, impactful, lasting behavior changes aimed at creating a new and thriving green economy. Over the past two decades, Steve has been a result-driven leader in the public interest arena through his work with AARP, Sierra Club, the PIRGs, and now Live Green. Steve spearheaded the effort to pass the country's strongest telemarketing do-not-call law, developed innovative, market-based approaches to helping people with lower incomes build and protect assets, co-coordinated a national petition drive that generated 1,200,000 physical signatures in defense of the Clean Air Act, the Endangered Species Act, and the Clean Water Act, and founded the Indiana Public Interest Research Group.
