During the 30 years he
has lived in Bozeman, he's
built homes with one of Bozeman's premier homebuilders, become intimate with the challenges of older homes as a remodeling contractor and managed residential rental property for numerous clients as well as himself.
Along the way he
has inspected, bought, remodeled and sold many properties.
Steve earned two degrees.
One in Biological Science and the other in Physical Sciences.
He is currently a member of three national housing inspection associations, each with demanding standards: The Housing Inspection Foundation, The American Society of Home Inspectors, and the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors.
He is a licensed Property Manager in the State of Montana.
He is the founder of MAREI, The Montana Association of Real Estate Inspectors.
has deep experience in the "hows" and "whys" that define a building's physical structure.
has observed the effects of good and poor design, accepted and questionable building practices, and appropriate and inappropriate maintenance.
